Tasks

• Cooking wide variety of foods as per customer preference keeping in mind food allergies or intolerances. Prepare and cook complete meals.
•  Schedule and supervise Kitchen Helpers, and ensure their work area is clean.
• Hire and train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of foods. Maintain inventory and records of foods, and prepare and oversee buffets.
• Work on menu planning, food supply monitoring, and estimating food requirements.
•  Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.
• Monitoring and managing cooking tools and ingredients.
•  Making adjustments to accommodate clients with specific diet and health concerns.
•  Setting up the work station.
• Developing recipes that comply with company policy.
•  Estimate food requirements and costs.

Role Eligibility

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required
• 2 years to less than 3 years is required
• Good communication skills to ensure efficient discussions of orders to support staff
• Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast paced environment
• Required combination of sitting, walking, standing for extended hours
• Physically demanding job
• Good English communication and writing skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
• Effective interpersonal skills, team player, self-motivated, problem solver & guest focused.

17.00 hourly
