Food Preparer

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Work Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Salary: $17 per hour

Work Location: Unit 1A, 1005 Broadway Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7N 1C1

We are now looking for a Food Preparer at our store in Saskatoon.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Washing, peeling fruits and pre-process ingredients (eg. mango, taro, banana, durian, etc.)
• Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary ingredients
• Ensuring that the food handling area is in tidy manner in compliance with health and regulations (eg. washing worktables, cupboards and appliances, removing trash and clean kitchen garbage containers, etc.)
• Participating in dishwashing as necessary
• Participating in daily cleaning of all areas
• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas

Qualifications:

• Secondary school education is required.
• Experience in food preparation or related fields is an asset.
• Ability to communicate efficiently and maintain good working relations.
• Ability to learn new skills from an experienced staff.
• Able to work at night.
