| Vacancy: Painter Positions: 2 Employer: Robin Painting Ltd located at 9557 132A Street, Surrey, BC, V3V 7B8 Salary: $26.50 hourly Hours: 40 Per week Start Date: as soon as possible Terms of employment: Full time/Permanent Language: English Education: completion of secondary school Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience Job location: various locations across Lower Mainland, British Columbia Job Duties: • Apply protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer, and/or other related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings • Wash, scrape, sand, torch and/or smooth interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing, lacquering or applying other materials • Operate compressors, striping machines, sandblasters, spray equipment and other small power equipment • Mix and thin paint to obtain desired colour and texture • Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces • Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting • Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other fillers using caulking guns or putty knives • Mix and match colors of paints, stain or varnish with oil and thinning and drying additives in order to obtain desired colors and consistencies • Assemble and erect scaffolding and swing stages To apply for the position please e-mail your resume to: robinpaintingltd@gmail.com |
