Experience
Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with three years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk.
Responsibilities
Tasks
Full cycle bookkeeping: post journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, maintain general ledgers and prepare interim financials for clients by using Sage Canadian version
Reconcile sales and payments for e-commerce transactions
Reconcile accounts of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and customer deposits.
Respond various questions to bookkeeping clients by phone and email.
Prepare materials of staff training for clients and internal as well.
Prepare payroll, tax deductions, and calculate premiums to workers’ compensation
Prepare annual T4 slips and employer payroll report to WorkSafe BC.
Prepare personal income tax return.
Prepare monthly margining statement for credit facility.
Prepare provincial sales tax return and federal GST/HST return.
Prepare year-end financial statements and corporation income tax return.
