Roofer helper
Salary $32.00/h, permanent, regular, full time position, 30-44 hours per week
Job requirements: some experience: 1-7 months in general construction environment preferably roofing, Propane Safety training, Fall Arrest Protection training course, machinery experience: circular saw, air guns, air compressor, nail guns, torches. Able to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads up to 100 pounds, physically demanding, manual dexterity, working outdoors, personal suitability: team player, reliability.
Duties: load, unload and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades, assist in building and demolishing roofs, clean and pile salvaged materials, perform routine maintenance work, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, assisting roofers in their duties, observe and follow hygiene and safety procedures in industrial, commercial and institutional and residential roofing installations
