Roles and Responsibilities for One Available Position: Bookkeeper
- Handling day-to-day accounting.
- Maintain records of vouchers, invoices, payments, etc.
- Bank reconciliation, payments and Accounting.
- Prepare Monthly/weekly/daily Cash flow.
- Preparing Monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement of all bank accounts.
- Handling Daily Fund Transfer (Internal/External); and preparing daily fund position report.
- Accounts books updating for revenue and receivables area.
- Checking the outstanding and providing approval on order creation where the credit terms are not met.
- Invoicing vs collection reconciliation for respective clients.
- Expense booking pertaining to the client/channel being handled along with correct HST impacts.
- Updating and following up with clients for overdue collections.
- Handling Internal audit and Statutory Audit.
- Working on recovery of overdue and assisting in improving working capital position.
- Finalizing accounts, assisting in audits, maintaining a ledger, maintaining an account of fixed assets, and conducting all other accounting activities.
Salary and Work details:
- $27.30/hr with minimum 30 hours per week
- $40.95/hr is the overtime rate, which starts after accumulative 44 hours in a week
- 4% of gross pay is considered as holiday pay
Other Job Details:
- Minimum of College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience is required
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Full time permanent role in the company
