IKONIC Walls & Ceilings Ltd. is a professional steel stud and drywall installation company serving the Lower Mainland. We have built great commercial and residential projects. We install steel stud and drywall for commercial projects, multi-family homes including high rise buildings. Our mission is to provide exceptional service and customer care. As we are expanding we are in need of a Supervisor.

Position: Supervisor

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Start date: As soon as possible

Salary: $35.50 hourly for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Location: 2259 Willoughby Way, Langley, BC V2Y 1B8

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. 

 The Supervisor (NOC: 72014) will be performing the following duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of employees
• Ensure that all necessary health and safety procedures are followed by employees.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities
• Solve any issue that may arise during work and recommend work measures to improve productivity.
• Review construction material lists and labour hours regarding the proposed scope of work, customer expectations and project deadlines with the Project Team.
• Create work schedules and Train new employees or arrange training.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities also with other project supervisors or managers
• Supervise workers and projects
• Make sure construction labourers are scheduled as per the work.
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Ability to supervise 5 to 10 people.
• Order materials, equipment and supplies needed.
• Estimate the cost and material
• Prepare reports as required.
• Promote a team approach and maintain dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather ideas.
• Coordinate, delegate and supervise the daily activities of all crew members and subcontractors

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, ability to supervise 5 to employees at all time.

Workers Supervised: Trades helpers, Labourers, Carpenters, Apprentices
