Cabinetmaker helper

Salary: $21.00 hourly
Hours: 40 per week

Job Duties
- Assist tradesperson in providing required material such as countertops, knobs, glue etc.
- Gather material for cabinetmakers and supervisors to handle on job sites
- Ensuring that all cabinets are organized, stocked, labelled.
- Organizing all cabinets coming into the shop and shipping.
- Keep job sites clean and machines serviced
- Cut wood and lumber to specified dimensions
- Load and unload materials and move materials to work areas
- Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas
- Hold timbers, lumber and panelling in place for fastening or cutting
- Cover surfaces with laminated plastic covering material
- Assisting carpenters and cabinetmakers with organizing tools, packing furniture, and other duties as requested
- Ensure accuracy and precision in measuring and cutting
- Clean and pile salvaged materials.
