Puran Enterprises Ltd. (DBA: Subway) is looking for a Human Resource Officer to join their team based in Surrey, Canada.

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $30.20/ hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Education: Certificate or diploma from a one-year to two-year College, CEGEP, or other non-university programme.

Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in the same or related field.  

Location: Unit 22, 8430 128 street, Surrey, BC, V3W 4G3

Main Duties:

• Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies.
• Identify current and prospective staffing requirements if all the three locations.
• Advice job applicants on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of the employment.
• Notify applicants of the results of selection process and prepare job offers.
• Review candidate inventories and contact potential candidate to arrange interview and transfer, redeployment and placement of personnel.
• Prepare and post notices and advertisements.
• Arrange staff trainings and motivate employees.
• Provide information or services such as employee assistance, counseling and recognition programs.
•  Plan human resource requirements in conjunction with other departments.
• Administer health and safety standards.
• Supervise report preparation and payroll administration
• Must possess strong communication, interpersonal, time management and multi-tasking skills.

Work Condition and physical capability:  Attention to detail, fast-paced busy environment. Work under pressure, tight deadlines.  High sense of urgency, well organized and able to prioritize efficiently. Must have highly proficient computer skills, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
