Location: Mississauga, ON L5N 5V3
Salary: $ 27.20 hourly / 30 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Set clear work priorities and maintain adherence to established procedures to meet deadlines effectively.
- Perform the administrative tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the establishment.
- Manage and organize office services, encompassing areas such as accommodations, equipment relocation, supply management, asset disposal, parking, maintenance, and security services through effective coordination and planning.
- Help create an operational budget and oversee inventory and budget management.
- Compile information and generate regular and specific reports, manuals, and written communication materials.
- Manage and synchronize administrative processes within the office.
- Coordinate office events, meetings, and conferences.
- Input and manage data using office software and databases.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A College degree, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience is required.
- Previous experience of 1 to 2 years in administrative roles is typically preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential for interacting with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Effective organization and time management skills are crucial for managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of administrative staff, providing guidance and support.
- Capable of identifying challenges, proposing solutions, and making decisions that contribute to the smooth operation of the office.
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail when managing records, reports, and coordinating tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, partners, and internal staff.
