Train new employees during orientation and training and communicate with current employees to clarify job descriptions and associated expectations.
Compose training guides, onboarding materials and other pertinent papers for the training and other events.
Provide routine, thorough needs analyses to spot skill gaps.
Administer employee development, language training, and health and safety programs.
Advise and assist other departmental managers on the interpretation and administration of personnel policies and programs.
Organize and conduct employee information meetings on employment policy, benefits, and compensations, and participate actively on various joint committees.
Address skills gaps with customized internal training and when necessary, coordinate external training.
Coordinate with department heads and line managers to keep an eye on the performance of the personnel.
