Position Title: Liaison Officer
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1
Wage: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)
Work Hours: 30 hours per week
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay or 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation
Responsibility:
- Oversee and manage all office administrative procedures, and continually review, evaluate and implement new procedures as necessary;
- Act as a bridge between Northern Motor Inn and other organizations, and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence as necessary;
- Perform establishment’s administrative tasks and oversee administrative activities related to contracting;
- Prioritize tasks, delegate assignments to office staff, and ensure that all work is completed on time and in compliance with established procedures;
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in accordance with government access to information and privacy legislation;
- Prepare operating budgets related to projects that involve other organizations and maintain inventory and budgetary controls;
- Coordinate and communicate with other organizations for office services, including contracts, equipment, supplies, forms, asset disposal, parking, maintenance and security services.
Qualification:
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- A university degree or college diploma in business or public administration is preferred but not mandatory;
- At least 1 year of work experience in a senior clerical or executive secretarial position related to office administration is required;
- Great communication and prioritisation skills;
- Team player and problem-solving skills;
- Flexible working hours including evening and weekends.
