Location: Brampton, ON L6W 3J1
Salary: $ 44.25 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities
- Developing project plans, including construction schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring that work progresses according to plan.
- Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.
- Managing contracts, subcontracts, and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Allocating and managing labor, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements.
- Managing project costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring the project remains within budget.
- Addressing issues that arise on the construction site, such as delays, design changes, or unexpected challenges.
- Recruit, employ, or oversee personnel as required to meet staffing demands.
- Ensuring that construction work stays on schedule and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Implementing quality control measures to meet project specifications and standards.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A CEGEP/ college diploma is the minimal educational requirement.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the construction industry is crucial.
- Strong leadership and management skills to oversee construction teams and subcontractors effectively.
- A deep understanding of local building codes, regulations, and permits is essential for compliance.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
- Effective English verbal and written communication for interacting with project stakeholders, team members, and authorities.
- The ability to address and resolve issues that may arise during construction.
- The ability to supervise and coordinate a diverse team of construction workers and subcontractors.
