Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth analysis to assess the company's financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Developing and implementing financial strategies to meet the company's goals and objectives.
- Balancing strategic planning, negotiating major deals, team support, and other tasks requiring effective time allocation and prioritization.
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks to protect the company's assets and investments.
- Managing the capital structure, including raising funds, and optimizing available capital.
- Overseeing the investment portfolio, making decisions on asset allocation, and managing the investment risk.
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Accountable for optimizing team performance by providing guidance and mentorship, and playing a pivotal role in the recruitment and hiring of new team members.
- Building and maintaining relationships with investors and other key clients.
- Collaborating with other management to align with the overall corporate strategy.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize costs and improve the company's financial performance.
Eligibility requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is typically the minimum requirement.
- Need 5 years or more of relevant work experience, often in a financial role.
- The budgetary responsibility lies within $500,001 to $1,500,000.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, risk management, and financial analysis is essential.
- Typically responsible for managing team, so leadership and management skills are important.
- Proven ability to generate revenue, increase profits, and make sound financial decisions is vital.
- Effective English communication and presentation skills are important.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for making informed financial decisions and managing risks.
Location: Mississauga, ON L5T 2M9
Salary: $59.00 hourly / 30 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
