Job Description

We are currently looking for a person in the position of Child Caregiver – Private Home to take care of our child. Please see the following employment information.

Job Duties:

1. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
2. Discipline children according to the methods instructed by the parents
3. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
4. Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
5. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
6. Organize daily activities such as games and outings for children
7. Prepare and serve nutritious food and meals
8. Supervise and care for children
9. Tend to emotional well-being of children

Job Details:

1. Salary: $17.50 per hour, 30 hours per week
2. Employment Type: Terms or contract; Full-time
3. Work Location: 51 Pine Ridge Drive, Toronto, Ontario M1M 2X6
4. Work Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

Requirements:

1. Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
2. Prefer to have previous experience and/or full-time training in the field of child care or related fields.
3. First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate would be an asset.
4. Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
5. Must be reliable, organized and flexible.
