Knowledge HVAC & Refrigeration Ltd. located in Surrey, BC is currently a hiring Refrigeration Mechanic to join their growing team.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $31.00 per hour 

Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Candidates are required to work at various locations in  Surrey, BC other Lower Mainland (BC) areas as per the company’s work contracts with its clients.

Job duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or other specifications as needed.
• Measure and lay out the reference points for the installation.
• Install, repair, maintain, and overhaul refrigeration systems, including commercial and industrial units, ensuring proper functionality.
• Conduct system performance tests and measurements by starting up the system, testing for leaks and other problems with testing devices, and making any required modifications.
• Repair and replace parts and components for the entire refrigeration system.
• Maintain documentation of work performed and prepare accurate cost estimates for clients.
• Provide great customer service to clients by responding to inquiries, explaining about repairs needed, and making preventative maintenance suggestions in a professional and courteous manner. 

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of an apprenticeship program in refrigeration and air conditioning OR Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Ability to communicate in English is required.
