Education: Completion of secondary school, completion of training program in child care or relevant field
Experience: 1 year relevant experience
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Physically demanding
Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/ client’s home
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Specific skills: Supervise and care for child in employer's residence, Plan, prepare and serve meals for child and may perform other housekeeping duties, Oversee child’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Instruct child in personal hygiene, Tend to the emotional well-being of child and support their social development, Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents, Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings Take child to and from school and appointments, Keep records of daily activities and health information of child
