Job Description

Job position: Housekeping Attendant

Job duties:

      1.Responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, ensuring they meet the hotel's cleanliness standards.
      2. Conduct thorough inspections of rooms to identify any maintenance or cleanliness issues and report them to the appropriate personnel.
      3. Responsible for laundering and ironing linens, towels, and other guest items. Ensure that these items are neatly folded and stored.
      4. Attend to guest requests for additional supplies or services promptly and courteously.
      5. Follow established safety and security procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to ensure a safe working environment.
      6. Work closely with other members of the housekeeping team, as well as other hotel staff, to ensure efficient and effective operations.
      7. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel, such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
      8. Stay informed about hotel procedures and attend training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

        • No degree, certificate or diploma
        • 1 to less than 7 months of experience is required

        • Work locations will be Hotel, motel, resort

        • Requires the ability to read, write, communication in English or french.
        • Employment conditions may be Day, Early Morning, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Night, On Call, Overtime, Shift, To be determined, Weekend

Job type: Permanent, full time

Salary & Hours: $18.00 / hour for 40 hours per week

Vacatio pay: 4%
