Job Description

Kings and Queen Childcare Centre offer services for Infant and Toddlers between 0-3, and full Daycare for 3- to School age. We believe that there are factors that shapes a child’s life, some of them are environment, home, and information they receive while growing up. Consequently, we offer a platform where children are supported, engaged, encouraged, and exposed to a positive attitude, training to set the groundwork for later intellectual strides. We provide comprehensive programs directed to making the child a better person now and the future. Our facility is designed to provide an environment that will foster and nurture a child’s cognitive social and emotional development, fine motor, and gross motor skills development. There is a conscious effort in making our facility as homely as possible, with functional and adaptable classroom setting that enhances self-development under proper guidance. We are currently seeking an experienced and licensed ECE, ECEA, or Infant/Toddler Teacher for both programs. We are currently looking to hire for ECEA (Teer Code 42202) position for Surrey location immediately.

Major Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Interact directly with the children to provide quality care
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of a consistent child-centered program
  • Establish and maintain positive daily communication with families
  • Maintain a neat and clean environment, including all activity and program areas, common spaces, and washrooms
  • Ensure that all safety and supervision standards are implemented and maintained
  • Attend Staff meetings as scheduled to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver a high-quality program
  • Maintain regular attendance, punctuality and be professionally dressed and well groomed

Qualifications

  • ECE, ECEA, or Infant/Toddler License required
  • Bachelors’ degree with minimum 3-5 years of experience in Teaching
  • Good English Language proficiency CLB 6 and above
  • Experience and passion for creating innovative, play-centered programs
  • Additional courses/training related to child growth and development an asset
