Location: Brampton, ON L6V 3V7

Salary: $24.50 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the sales team, including training, scheduling, and managing their performance to ensure efficient and effective customer service.
• Meet financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Set sales goals and targets for the retail section, motivating the team to achieve or exceed them.
• Oversee the daily operations of the store by managing schedules, overseeing inventory and stock, and ensuring that all safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of store performance, sales, and customer service.
• Develop and implement retail policies and procedures to ensure a positive and productive environment.
• Train, evaluate, and coach staff to reach sales and customer service goals.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor retail sales performance and suggest strategies for improvement.

Eligibility Requirements:

• A college diploma or CEGEP or equivalent is usually the minimum requirement
• 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, retail, or customer service roles is required.
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Able to analyze retail sales performance and develop strategies for improvement
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office and POS systems
