Job Summary:

The Director of Internal Operations, in collaboration with the Directors, provides leadership and overall direction to groups of Archway’s Administrative employees and the Recycling facility. This position reports to the CEO and works closely and collaboratively with other agency directors to ensure the integrity of Archway’s mission, vision, and values. Along with providing leadership within the administration team, The Director of Internal Operations also oversees the strategic development and risk management of all administrative systems and processes to maximize internal business functions and provides leadership to the team. This position maintains CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accreditation. The Director of Internal Operations directly manages the Associate Director, People and Culture; Manager, IT (Information Technology); the Manager Communications & Marketing, Central Support, and Manager, Philanthropy.

Your Role:

Archway’s Director, Internal Operations with Administration Services contributes by:

  • Collaborating with Directors and other agency leadership to develop, action and review the agency’s risk management plans.
  • Leading the development, coordination, and review of the strategic plan as it relates to internal operations.
  • Leading and overseeing Information Technology, Marketing & Communication, Philanthropy, Central Support Services and People & Culture along with overseeing budget development and service delivery for these programs.
  • Overseeing the business performance measurement process for Administration Services and the Recycling operation.
  • Leading the contact for CARF communication, compliance, and accreditation survey schedule for the administrative side.
  • Providing regular, timely reports/information to the CEO, Directors, and Board of Directors, as required.
  • Serving as a member of the Directors’ team, participating in various committees, working groups and associations, etc.

This position is a great fit for someone who has a demonstrated history of collaborative leadership and strong decision-making skills in a large multi-program/discipline work environment.

Our Offer

  • Wage:  $75.51 - $80.11 per hour
  • A permanent, full-time position at 40 hours per week, availability Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and some evening and weekend work will be required.

Getting an Interview – you will be considered if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resource management, marketing & communications, information technology, or another equivalent administration focused discipline.
  • At least 10 years experience in a senior leadership role working with cross-functional teams.
  • At least 5 years experience in role responsible for strategic planning and risk management.
  • At least 5 years experience analyzing business measurements.
  • At least 3 years experience in a non-profit or public sector environment is an asset.
  • At least 3 years experience reporting to a medium sized not-for-profit board.

The Job Requires you to have:

  • Knowledge of service delivery processes in Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing & Communications, and administration.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and legislation in relation to the Human Resources and Information Technology.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of accreditation processes within the social service sector.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time using a screen, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Ability to work in a demanding high-paced environment with frequent interruptions and switch-tasking.
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is a condition of employment.
