Job Description

Wage: $22.00 per hour (full-time position / 35 hours per week)

Location of Work:    Esso Gas Station, 485 Winchester Road East, Whitby, ON L1M 1X5

Job DESCRIPTION:

• Supervise, train and coordinate duties of staff
• Prepare work schedules and assign duties to staff
• Train staff on new products and promotion as required
• Ensure adequate stock of products are on display
• Maintain inventory and place orders, deal with suppliers
• Authorize payments for products received and the return of merchandise
• Serve customers as required
• Deal with complaints or questions put by customers such as customer complaints and product/supply shortages
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met
• Manage and ensure car wash is running smoothly and resolve any issues that arise in the car wash
• Prepare reports on stock and sales
• Close POS system and assist owner in all aspects of the management of the store

Job Requirements:

• Previous retail experience in a similar industry is a must
• Extensive knowledge of the Gilbarco POS system is a must
• Completion of secondary school
