Permanent Position: Dangerous Goods Truck Driver

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time (Weekend, Overtime as required)

Wage Rate:  $28.85 per hour, for 37.50 hours per week.

 Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Various Locations 

 Job Duties:

• Safely transporting dangerous goods to and from specified locations according to company delivery schedules.
• Ensure transportation of dangerous materials complies with safety and legal regulations.
• Perform visual checks to identify and report leaks or other forms of damage.
• Properly secure dangerous goods to ensure that they are not damaged in transit.
• Notify management of any accidents, parking tickets, vehicle damage, and major maintenance issues.
• Maintain current knowledge of dangerous goods about proper certification, marking, labeling, and packaging.

Requirements

Certification : Transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification is required.

Education: High School is required.

Experience: On Job Training will be provided.
