Position/Job Title: Drywall Installer (NOC 73102)

Description: Drywall installers and finishers install and finish drywall sheets.

Job Location: Various locations within Lower Mainland.

Education: Completion of secondary school is usually required.

Experience: Not required, will train.

Number of openings: 3

Position: Permanent - Full Time

Wage: $34.47/hr.

Language: English is required

Job Duties:

 Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets.

 Position and secure sheets to metals or wooden studs or joints.

 Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.

 Fill joints, mail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife.

 Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.

 Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound.

 Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.

 Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
