Brendan O'Brien Landscaping Inc. has been in business since 1993 and serves high-end residential clients in Toronto, primarily in Forest Hill, Rosedale, Yorkville, Lawrence Park and York Mills. Our style of gardens ranges from Stately and Urban Homes to Patio and Terrace style Gardens. Our objective is to transform a Garden and make it an extension of the home. 

We seek an experienced and motivated Landscape Foreman to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing, and managing landscaping projects from start to finish. 

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of landscaping crews. 

• Preparing estimates, budgets, and schedules for landscaping projects.

• Managing procurement of materials and equipment.

• Training and mentoring staff on landscaping techniques and safety practices. 

• Consulting with clients to determine landscaping needs and preferences.

• Monitoring and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools.

• Resolution of workplace issues and generate comprehensive performance reports.

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school (preferred)

• A college diploma, or specialized courses or industry certifications in landscaping, is an asset.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field is essential.

• Supervisory experience is an asset. 

• Solid understanding of landscaping methods, equipment, and materials.

• Proven leadership and strong organizational abilities.

• Skilled in managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.

• Knowledge of local environmental standards and safety regulations.
