Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time 
Salary: $30.00 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible 
Work locations: Various Locations in Surrey (BC) & other areas in Lower Mainland (BC) as per the company’s work contracts with its clients.

Job Duties

• Determine the type and quantity of materials and paintwork needed by reading instructions and examining surfaces.
• Prepare and clean surfaces by scraping, sanding, remove old wallpaper and loose paint, etc.;  repair cracks and holes in walls; and apply sealer.
• Mix and thin paint to desired color and texture.
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Apply wallpaper and fabrics to walls by measuring, cutting, and sticking them.
• Sets up scaffolding or ladders to perform work above ground level.
• Provide color schemes and wall covering advice to customers.

Job Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of apprenticeship program or Minimum 3 years of work experience in the similar trade.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time.

Note

• Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided for up to $1000.00 for qualified candidates.
