Job Description

Mattali Drywall Inc.is looking for a Construction Labourer who can start immediately. Our offices are located in Calgary AB T2N 0H3.  Work at various locations.

Wages: $25.10 per hour for 30 hours per week.

Benefits: as per Alberta standards

Terms of Employment: Full time permanent position

Employment conditions: Early Morning, Day, Evening, Overtime

Job requirements: Language: English

Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: On-the-job training will be provided.

Job Duties:

• Calculate crane capacities
• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
• Perform pre-operational inspection
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Perform routine maintenance work
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
