We are currently searching for an experienced Office Manager – Nonprofit organization

 

 

Work Setting:

  • Associations and nonprofit organizations

 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

 

Administrative Operations

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of administrative departments within the organization.
  • Oversee and streamline processes related to documentation, scheduling, office management, and internal communications.
  • Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services
  • Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources or other administrative services
  • Co-ordinate administrative services
  • Evaluate the operations of a department providing administrative services
  • Manage the operations of a department by providing a single administrative service
  • Collect and record administrative and service fees
  • Conduct research

 

 

Financial Management

  • Administer and control budgets for contracts, supplies, programs, and services.
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable, internal controls, and ensure responsible stewardship of resources.
  • Generate reports and financial briefs for management committees and executive boards.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits

 

 

Corporate Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with CRA charity regulations, payroll remittances, and organizational policies.
  • Lead audits and annual reports submissions as required by nonprofit governance.

 

 

Partnerships & Expansion

  • Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and community partners to optimize operational costs and support ministry expansion.
  • Build and manage strategic alliances with investors and stakeholders for church growth and outreach initiatives.

 

 

Human Resources & Team Supervision

  • Hire, train, and supervise administrative staff and volunteers.
  • Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

 

 

Area of Specialization:

  • Business Administration, Financial Management, or related disciplines
  • Previous experience in Marketing, Strategic Negotiation, and Organizational Growth is an asset

Terms of Employment:

Permanent Position/40 hours per week

 

 

Hours of work:

Monday-Friday 08:00 am- 04:00 pm

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of work experience in business administration, financial, or nonprofit roles
  • A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, accounting, marketing, finance or a related administrative service
  • Experience in nonprofit or charity environments (volunteer or paid)
  • Knowledge in fundraising, donor management, and nonprofit governance
  • Mastery of fundamental accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent numerical aptitude and data analysis proficiency
  • Assertive and effective communication abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in critical thinking
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and accountable

 

 

Salary:

$45.19 to $48.00 per hour, depending on your work experience.
