Family in Markham, Ontario, L3R 0W8 is looking for a reliable Family Child Care Provider. Please refer to the following job details:

TERMS/CONDITIONS:

-          Salary: $20.00 per hour, 30-35 hours per week.

-          Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent-free.

-          Work Location: 132 Peshawar Ave, Markham, ON L3R 0W8.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to the children’s nutritional needs.
2. Organize and oversee educational games, learning sessions, and recreational activities.
3. Foster respectful and constructive interactions with both children and their parents.
4. Support children's emotional growth, social skills, empathy, and personal development.
5. Implement appropriate disciplinary approaches in line with parental guidelines.
6. Maintain accurate and current records of each child’s growth, daily routines, and preferences.
7. Escort children to and from school or scheduled appointments as needed.
8. Perform additional light housekeeping tasks when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Previous experience in the same field and/or previous full-time training in the field will be an asset.
2. First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate will be an asset.
3. Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
4. Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
5. Must be reliable, honest, friendly and patient.
