We are seeking two Carpenters to join our team.

Start date: as soon as possible

$32.50 per hour, 2 vacancies, Full time- permanent, 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Secondary Education certificate
• 2 years of related work experience
• Language required: English
• Location of work: various locations in Vernon area

Key duties of the role:

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Survey building locations and levels
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
