Position: Construction Site Supervisor

Hours: Full-time, 32-40 hours per week

Employment terms: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift

Wage: $37.00/hour Overtime: $37.00*1.5 exceeding 40 hours per week

Location: On site-various locations

Language: English

Education: Secondary (high school graduation certificate)

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Start Date: As soon as possible

Work setting: Construction, Commercial, Residential, various locations

Responsibilities:

• Prepare production and other reports
• Supervise workers and projects
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
• Train or arrange for training
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Recommend personnel actions
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Leading/instructing individuals

Experience and Specialization

Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 3 to 4 people, 5 to 10 people, staff in various areas of responsibility

Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work setting: Construction, Commercial, Residential, various locations

Work site environment: Outdoor, Noisy, Dusty
