We’re currently seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our dynamic kitchen team. 

 

Job duties: 

  • Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a supportive and collaborative work culture.

  • Oversee and develop seasonal menu offerings, making adjustments as needed based on product availability, feedback, and innovation.

  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes in line with the Paris Paris brand.

  • Create and maintain accurate shopping lists and order supplies as needed to ensure optimal inventory levels.

  • Calculate food costs and monitor kitchen expenses to meet budget targets and maintain profitability.

  • Conduct ongoing training of kitchen staff to ensure skill development, consistency, and high standards of food preparation and safety.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization at all times.

  • Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience from kitchen to table.

 

Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school is required.

  • Cook’s trade certification (Red Seal or equivalent), or a combination of relevant training and experience, is required.

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in commercial food preparation and kitchen management.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role such as sous-chef or chef.

  • Menu development or costing experience.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, etc.).
