We’re currently seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our dynamic kitchen team.
Job duties:
Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a supportive and collaborative work culture.
Oversee and develop seasonal menu offerings, making adjustments as needed based on product availability, feedback, and innovation.
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes in line with the Paris Paris brand.
Create and maintain accurate shopping lists and order supplies as needed to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Calculate food costs and monitor kitchen expenses to meet budget targets and maintain profitability.
Conduct ongoing training of kitchen staff to ensure skill development, consistency, and high standards of food preparation and safety.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization at all times.
Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience from kitchen to table.
Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Cook’s trade certification (Red Seal or equivalent), or a combination of relevant training and experience, is required.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in commercial food preparation and kitchen management.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role such as sous-chef or chef.
Menu development or costing experience.
Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, etc.).
