International Landscaping is a comprehensive outdoor construction and landscaping contractor specializing in commercial and residential landscape construction projects across Canada. Our company combines traditional landscaping services with significant construction activities to create complete outdoor environments including hardscaping, infrastructure development, and structural installations.
We are currently seeking a full-time Carpenter to join our growing team.
Job duties:
Read and interpret site plans and landscape drawings to guide construction of outdoor structures and features.
Build decks, pergolas, retaining walls, fences, and other wood or composite structures central to landscape projects.
Cut, assemble, and install materials for hardscaping and structural landscaping with precision and quality craftsmanship.
Operate power and hand tools to complete framing, forming, and finishing tasks on-site.
Construct bases and substructures for patios, pathways, and garden features.
Form and pour concrete for landscape elements such as steps, borders, and foundations.
Inspect and prepare materials to meet project and environmental standards.
Perform repairs and adjustments on wood and structural features throughout project stages.
Collaborate with designers and site leads to ensure efficient, coordinated construction aligned with project goals.
Requirements:
Completion of high school;
2 - 3 years Carpentry experience;
Certification in carpentry is an asset;
Flexible hours including weekends;
Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions (extreme weather);
Availability to work at heights is an asset.
