Now Hiring: Food Services Supervisor | Hampton Inn by Hilton Midland, ON

Hampton Inn by Hilton Midland is seeking a Food Services Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our food service department. This is a great opportunity for motivated hospitality professionals looking to grow into management within a respected international hotel brand.

Work Location: 877 King StreetMidland, ON L4R 0B7

Role Highlights:

• Supervise and coordinate staff who prepare, portion, and serve food and beverages.
• Establish and adjust work schedules to meet daily operational needs.
• Train staff in job duties, proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Monitor food preparation and service to ensure quality control standards are met.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain records of stock, sales, repairs, wastage, and staff performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Prepare reports related to operations, staffing, and inventory.
• Assist in hiring and evaluating staff performance in collaboration with management.

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma and basic English are a must
• 7 months - 1 year of relevant experience in food services or hospitality
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced hotel environment

What we offer:

• $17.75 - $21.00/hour (negotiable based on experience)
• Permanent, full-time role (35 - 40 hrs/week)
