Kevin Valley Farms Ltd is looking for 10 Fulltime, Permanent Farm Workers

Wages: $14.60 per hour for 40 hours per week

Benefits:

• Accommodation will be provided at $30/week (if required)
• Relocation expenses and private health insurance covered by the employer until the worker is covered by the appropriate provincial health insurance plan.
• Transportation facility will be provided to the workers from their residence to the farm by the employer (if required)
• Benefits as per Employment Standards Act (Vacation Pay 4% of gross salary will be paid on each scheduled payday)

Job duties:

• Plant, cultivate and irrigate blueberry plants
• Fertilize and spray blueberry plants
• Harvest blueberry plants
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Detect disease and health problems in crops
• Examine produce for quality and prepare for market

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Site Environment: Wet/damp

Employment Requirements: No Language required, No Education required; No Experience required, will train.
